Hopalong Camanshii is a science fiction graphic novel created by Anthony Tyrone Howard. It is set almost 1000 years in a future Philadelphia, where the cult of fame, the rise of memes, and the march of technology are having a profound impact on society.
Hopalong Camanshii is a young artist who is trying to make sense of this new world. He is also a gifted hacker, and he uses his skills to fight against the forces that he believes are threatening to corrupt the future.
The first book in the series, Hopalong Camanshii + The Synaptic Kush, focuses on Camanshii’s battle against a powerful meme that is spreading through the city. The meme is called the Synaptic Kush, and it is designed to control people’s minds. Camanshii must use all of his skills to stop the Synaptic Kush and save the future of Philadelphia.
